Ashley Barksdale is a Mental Health Therapist, Adjunct Psychology and Family Science Instructor, and Postpartum Support Coordinator. She is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s stressors and effectively works with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and sexual backgrounds. Ashley aims to support, challenge, and uplift others towards emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual healing, treating everyone as unique and deserving of acceptance.

Ashley holds a master’s in social work from Baylor University and a bachelor’s in family science with a minor in psychology from Mississippi University for Women and is a Marriage and Family Therapy doctoral candidate at Liberty University. Certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Perinatal Mental Health Professional, Ashley’s practice spans academia and clinical social work, covering ADHD, trauma, childhood adversity, and maternal mental health.
